September. You either love it or hate it. It marks the end of summer and the beginning of school, if you haven’t gone back already. Here’s how to beat the back to school blues and start you school year the right way.


Get enough sleep


Getting up before 8am is difficult. Having to be at school for 08:30 is even harder especially if you were up till 2am the night before watching Netflix.


If you don’t want to be groggy throughout your first week back, make sure to put the gadgets away and get a solid eight hours of sleep.


Having a good night’s rest will leave you refreshed for your school day. It will give you the brain power to work through your lessons and will give you more motivation.


Pack your bags the night before


If you want your year at school to be a breeze, get into the habit of packing your bags the night before.


Checking to see whether you’ve got your pens, pencils, calculator, ruler, planner and books packed before you go to bed, is a simple but effective way to stay out of trouble and stay on top of your game through the school year.


Get back into the swing of things


Nobody likes to study more than they have to, but it is a good idea to read over what you've studied previously at school. This way you can make sure that you're focused and ready to learn from the first day onwards.


Have fun


They don't say that your school days are your best days for no reason. Despite the work, early starts and late finishes, school can be a lot of fun.


Make sure that you're ready to make the most of you of classroom and lunchtime laughs because school doesn't last forever!
